 Mr Valère Chouinard It is my pleasure to welcome you to the website of the North American Chouinard Association, more commonly referred to as ACAN. I invite you to click on each tab appearing on the homepage. You will find interesting information about our beautiful association. Each year, we take advantage of the general assembly of the association and then celebrate together at a dinner followed by a recreational evening. Founded in 1980, Saturday, June 16, 2018, ACAN celebrates its 38th anniversary in Saint-Jean-Port-Joli, where our ancestor Jacques Chouinard and his wife Louise Jean settled down. All Chouinards, members or not of the association, are invited to join us for this annual activity. Just use the registration form that you will find on this site under the tab "Annual Meeting 2018". A family association such as ours survives willingly by the number of registered members. That's why I thank the regular members for renewing their annual dues. I would like to add that the members of the board of directors and I would be happy to welcome new members who will join our ranks by using the membership form presented on our website under the tab "Become a member". Your visit to this site is a pleasure for volunteers on the ACAN Board of Directors. It is in a way a mark of recognition for their work and more particularly for that of our Webmaster Guy Chouinard.
